![]() Giving to the Capitol is simple! There are many ways you can get involved. The Capitol Arts Alliance relies heavily on the support of the community. Donations are gladly accepted at any time via cash, credit, or check. Donations can be mailed in, brought to our box office, or submitted online. Remember, every little bit helps! ![]() iGIVE.com: The caring way to shop! You shop... the Capitol wins! Help your favorite cause for free. At over 680 brand name stores, a portion of each online purchase is donated to your favorite cause... the Capitol Arts Alliance! Visit iGive.com today! MERCHANDISE: For exclusive Capitol Arts Alliance merchandise, visit the Cafe Press website at www.cafepress.com/capitolarts AND www.cafepress.com/cayt. Our youth theatre is also always in need of help. Here is how you can help your youth! CAYT Membership: Becoming a member of the CAYT support program benefits: quality professional teachers, designers, and performers; original new scripts, costumes, and sets; performances for disadvantaged youth; the creation of new programs and festivals; special educational opportunities for CAYT students. There are different levels of membership, and benefits for each. Click HERE for more information and the membership form. Classes, Camps and Workshops: Further your artistic development with help from our instructors. Also, if you are new to CAYT it is a good idea to get involved in this way so that we get the chance to work with you and get to know each child that wants to be involved. Lock-ins and Other Special Events: Wouldn’t it be great to have a slumber party with all your friends and not have to worry about waking mom and dad?! We have themed lock-ins and many other activities to compliment our season that incorporate learning and fun into a party-like environment that is safe and family friendly. AUDITION AUDITION AUDITION!: We hold open auditions for our main stage productions, as well as studio shows and even dinner theatre! There is always an opportunity to get involved in a show. If you have some issues with stage fright, or just aren’t interested in being on stage, you still have a chance to be involved! We also offer technical internships for youth. There is something for everyone! Volunteer: Parents can chaperone backstage during performances, or during lock-ins and other special events. All ages can volunteer to usher a performance (and see it for free!). We often need help in tech areas as well. If you are a mom or dad that is artistic, let us know! You could get involved with our scenic construction, creating props, and much more! Donations: We always accept cash donations, but that isn’t all you can do to help. We are trying to build up our stocks in costume, prop, and scenic pieces. If you have anything you’d like to get rid of that may be of use in a performance you can unload on us! |
