LOCK-IN POLICIES

* The Capitol Arts Youth Theatre is an all-inclusive, family-friendly program. All participants will participate and show respect to each other, the chaperones and staff, and the Capitol Arts Center. All participants’ language, discussion topics, and behavior MUST be family-friendly.
* Clothing must adequately cover the body and not expose undergarments or midriffs. NO SHORT SKIRTS OR SHORTS! No heelies or flip-slops. All lettering, slogans, and artwork on clothing must be in good taste. Inappropriate conduct or dress violation will not be tolerated and will result in the participant being sent home.
* All participants must abide by Capitol Arts Youth Theatre Policies and Procedures as listed on the CAYT website: www.capitolarts.com.
* Chaperones will be posted around the Capitol Arts Center to ensure everyone is participating and having fun in an appropriate manner. Young people MUST follow the chaperones’ directions and remain in their sight at all times. Chaperones will take sleeping shifts during the night.
* Participants will remain in the lobby or auditorium at ALL times. NO ONE will be allowed downstairs in the dressing rooms or upstairs in the mezzanine without an adult chaperone.
* NO food or drink will be allowed in the auditorium. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite snacks and drinks. Pizza, refreshments, and donuts will be provided in the Capitol’s lobby.
* Participants should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and sleeping clothes that appropriately cover the body.
* Participants should bring costumes & props for Costume Contest & Improv Scenes.
* Consent form AND registration form MUST be returned for EACH participant with full payment before s/he will be allowed to stay.
* Chaperones and staff have the right to send home any young person not willing to abide by lock–in policies.
