CAYT CAMPS

The Capitol Arts Youth Theatre’s Summer Day Camps give young people a one- or two-week courses in theatre arts. Camps are generally offered during the month of June and focus on a variety of theatrical genres to include voice, acting, and dance.

Past camps have focused on Acting (Scenes & Monologues–great for beginners), Acting ("Mainstage Mirror"–scenes from past plays produced by Capitol Arts Youth Theatre), Acting Intensive (play production), Musical Theatre (vocal music and dance), and WEE Theatre (ages 4-6).

Teachers are local performing artists and university theatre students who demonstrate high-quality skills in theatre arts.
